The series Folded Seas is a profound exploration of fluidity, movement, and the multidimensional nature of the sea. Through a masterful combination of abstract forms and rich tonalities, the artist reveals the various aspects and expressions of water. Each piece in the series unfolds like a visual layering of watery matter, simultaneously conveying both the ever-present motion and tranquility of the sea.Dominated by shades of blue and grey, with subtle lines etched in white and gold, the works seem to uncover hidden details—whether found in the depths of the ocean or on its reflective surface. The series draws inspiration from the constantly shifting shapes of water, the undulating movements of waves, and the harmonious interaction between sea and sky.In Folded Silence, the artist captures the calm of a serene sea, where the soft folds of water layers bring forth the stillness of the open horizon. In contrast, Waves and Resistance presents a more dynamic interplay, where foamy waves reflect the tension of the sea’s force. The layers and forms in this piece create a continuous dialogue between fluidity and resistance.Each work in the series invites the viewer to dive into the vastness of maritime landscapes, exploring the deep mysteries of the ocean floor while also feeling the magic of the surface, where waters reflect the skies. Through Folded Seas, the artist proposes a multilayered dialogue with the nature of the sea, expressing both the harmony and the strength of water in all its forms.
